IRRITATIONS AND DRY EYES ?

HOGERN EYE LOTION is a sterile eye prepartion, lubircating eye drop which keeps the eye surface moist and wet. A product that truly benefits eyeverone in many ways.

HOGERN EYE LOTION preservative free minidose is a very safe and preferred choice to combat dry and irritated eyes in just a couple of minutes. It refreshes and relieves eyes fatigue. Hogern eye lotion contains no preservative and therefore is suitable for everyone.

This is our innovative product and specially formulated for BOTH contact lens and non contact lens user. It contains Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium which has a strong mucoadhesive force which allows longer lubricating effect and providing sustained osular lubrication.

COMPOSITION

Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium, Sodium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Magnesium Chloride, Sodium Lactate Solution, Sodium Hydroxide, Hydrochloric Acid, Injection Water.

APPEARANCE

Colorless or pale yellow transparent solution in a colorless and transparent strip.

USES

For temporary relief of burning, irritations and discomfort due to dryness of eye. May be used as a protection against further irritation.

DOSAGE and ADMINISTRATION

Instill 1 or 2 drops to the eye as needed. Discard solution and strip after us.

SYMPTOMS OF DRY EYES

Pain, light sensitivity, gritty sensation, feeling of foreign body in the eye, itching, redness and blurring of vision are some common symptoms of dry eyes. Dry eye is also known as keratitis sicca and is one of the most common eye ailments and is estimated to affect 10-30% of the world population.

WHY PRESERVATIVE FREE PRODUCTS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

As known, added preservatives in eye drops without exception exert detrimental cytotoxic side effect (harmful to cells). Short term application does not cause visible deterioration of the cornea BUT with long-term use in case of eye dryness, the impairment of cornea gets visible. This can be demonstrated by the Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) images on the effect of preservatives on the corneal tissue. The presence of preservatives also increases the risk of both reverse effects on the cornea and possibly reactions of hypersensitivity.

With this high risk factor of preservatives, that is why PRESERVATIVE FREE products are highly recommended.
